Frequently asked questions

What is Trigger?

Trigger is a free price-alert service for flights and hotels. You search a trip, set the most you want to pay, and Trigger emails you as soon as the price is at or below that target, with a link to book on a trusted travel site.

Is Trigger really free?

Yes. Trigger is free for travellers. Some booking links are affiliate links, so a travel site may pay us a commission when you book. Your price stays the same.

Do I book on Trigger?

No. Trigger never takes payment. When your price hits, we send you to the booking site that has the deal, and you book there directly.

How accurate are the prices?

Prices come from official travel data partners and show when they were last seen. Fares and room rates change quickly, so the booking site always shows the live price before you pay. We can't guarantee a price will still be available.

How often do you check prices?

From about twice a day for trips months away up to hourly in the final days before travel. Triggers that are close to their target are checked more often.

How many emails will I get?

One email when your price is reached. After that, only if it drops at least 5% more, and at most once a day for each trigger. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

How many triggers can I have?

Up to 10 active triggers at a time. Pause or delete one to add another. Triggers end automatically on your travel date.

Which currencies and languages are supported?

Trigger is available in 12 languages and shows prices in your local currency, converted with daily reference rates when the partner uses a different currency.

What happens to my data?

We store only what we need to run your triggers: your email, your searches and the prices we see. We never sell personal data. You can download or delete everything from your account page.
