Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website triggerprice.app and the price-alert service offered on it (together, "Trigger" or the "Service"). The Service is operated by Trigger (triggerprice.app) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Trigger does
Trigger is a free price-alert service for flights and hotels. You can search for a flight or hotel, set a target price and create an alert. Trigger then re-checks prices from its data partners on a schedule and emails you when a price at or below your target is found, with a link to book on a partner site.
Trigger is an information service only. Trigger:
- does not sell flights, hotel stays or any other travel product;
- does not take payments from you;
- is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking platform;
- is not a party to any booking you make.
When you book, you do so directly on a third-party partner site. Your contract for that booking is with that site, airline or hotel, under their terms and conditions.
2. Who can use Trigger
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Trigger, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
- You can create an account with an email address and password, by using a sign-in link sent to your email, or with Google sign-in.
- You must provide a valid email address that you control, because alerts are sent by email.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and access to your email account secure, and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at security@triggerprice.app if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You can export your data and delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion removes your account, alerts and history, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Alerts
- Trigger is free for travellers. Each account can have up to 10 active alerts at a time.
- Alerts end automatically on the travel date: the departure date for flights and the check-in date for hotels.
- We send one email the first time a price at or below your target is found. After that, we only email again for an alert if the price drops at least 5% below the last price we emailed you about, and no more than once per 24 hours per alert.
- Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Check frequency depends on how far away the trip is and how close the price is to your target, as described on how it works. We may change check schedules, limits or features to keep the Service reliable and fair.
5. Prices and availability
Prices shown on Trigger and in alert emails come from our data partners. Many are recently seen (cached) prices that can be hours to around two days old. The booking site always shows the live price, which may be higher or lower. We cannot guarantee that any price, flight, room or offer is available, accurate or complete. Please read our Price disclaimer for details. Always check the final price, conditions, baggage rules, taxes and fees on the booking site before you pay.
6. Affiliate links
Some outbound links on Trigger are affiliate links. If you book through one of these links, the partner may pay us a commission. This does not change the price you pay, and it never changes which offers we show or their order, which is by price. See how Trigger stays free.
7. Acceptable use
When using Trigger, you agree not to:
- use automated tools to access, scrape or overload the Service, or to create accounts or alerts in bulk;
- try to get around limits, rate limiting, anti-bot checks or security measures;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service or other users' accounts;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- misrepresent your identity or use someone else's email address without permission;
- copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission.
We may suspend or close accounts, remove alerts or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being broken or the Service is being misused.
8. Third-party sites and services
Trigger links to third-party sites, including booking partners, and uses third-party services such as Google sign-in. We are not responsible for the content, availability, prices, terms or privacy practices of third-party sites. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Our content
The Trigger name, website design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning. You may not copy or reuse our content for other purposes without permission.
10. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Trigger running reliably, but we do not promise that it will be available at all times or free of errors. Checks may be delayed, emails may be delayed or not delivered, and data from partners may be incomplete or unavailable. We may change, pause or stop the Service or any part of it. Where reasonable, we will give notice of significant changes.
11. No warranty
The Service is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranty that the Service will meet your needs, that alerts will be sent at any particular time, or that any price or offer will be found, available or accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any booking you make, or decide not to make, on a third-party site, or for the acts or omissions of airlines, hotels or booking sites;
- we are not liable for differences between prices shown on Trigger and the live price on a booking site, or for offers that are no longer available;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or savings.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using Trigger at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may close accounts that break these Terms, as described in section 7.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "updated" date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know, for example by email. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, the updated Terms apply.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any disputes about them are handled under the applicable law of the operator's place of establishment. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms takes those rights away.
